outhern Transitional Council of Yemen cannot get independence from Yemen. If they get independence from Yemen it will lead to lack of security on red sea since there will possibility of piracy or many national actors who will have presence with capability to block the important shipping Route. Think about some rebels and terrorists in Yemen each getting their own country and territory. You may assume they want to carry terror attack in USA from their territory in Yemen. But instead they will purchase land to sea missiles and ships to do piracy on the red sea. Then instead of having one big Yemen with one national actor there will be two to 10 countries each seeking to establish security for themselves or seeking to collect toll on red sea. Also Civil war always happens in Yemen after dividing of Yemen to two countries. If we divide yemen after this war we must expect another civil war to reunify Yemen.
