They must have limited fire power. If the police has too much fire power then they may kill everyone in neighborhood or a town. Police is already out arming the criminals by many folds. The era of Irish and Italian Mafia is long gone. People barely have hand guns now. Police is organized and well practiced. Police has privilege to shoot if there is real reason. But the other side cannot even touch their gun legally when they face the police. Now think about Police going to a town to deal with small crime. Thing about police carrying big guns and advanced military vehicles. They just may go on rampage and kill everyone. It is indeed dangerous to allow police to have too powerful and high capacity guns. In Britain we don’t even have guns. Policemen are not armed. They don’t carry guns. But in America guns are everywhere and police are becoming more violent as days go by. This why we have black lives matter protests. Have you heard USA Military and Police going to communities and killing people at gun point. I have heard they go to the homes of black lives matter protesters and kill them at gun point. They became the enemy. Joe Biden is right. When USA military and police go to the house of Black Lives matter protesters and do summery executions in their house then the police has become the enemy. I must remind police and USA federal agents must not have the strongest weapons. Because we have second amendment rights to protect our first amendment. Yes. For our liberties we are allowed to have guns. So if the federal government became a Tyrant we can raise arms and start rebellion to overthrow our Tyrant regime. It is what Trump has become. A tyrant. Many of black Americans are fighting for their liberty and to bring down a tyrant.
